Ngā Poari ā-Rohe Local Boards
No one knows a community better than the people that live and work in it. Auckland has 21 Local Boards who represent communities around the region.
Local Boards ensure that local needs are considered in emergency planning and response efforts. They also play a key role in recovery, working closely with residents and supporting the community after an emergency.
We’re working with Auckland’s local boards to make sure each region has its own Emergency Response and Readiness Plan.
